Stumbling In Style…

MS Trust Shoes 2 MS Trust ShoesThese are quite possibly the best, most stylish, most beautiful pair of flats I have ever owned – the lovely and talented Helena at MS Trust customized them for me after I hankered after a gorgeous pair of high heels she created.

They’re currently living on my desk so I can admire them and I’m just waiting for the perfect opportunity to launch them into society.

The shoes led on to a Twitter discussion about what else we could customize – I suggested a blue hard hat for work? Tagline – ‘When your world crumbles around you, there’s always the MS Trust…’

The Builder thinks that’s a brilliant idea, as it could possibly mean I will do more work, rather than eating bacon butties, texting and pointing out that his measurements are wrong.

Anyway, I absolutely adore my new shoes – they are a work of art. I’m tempted to frame them, but that would be a waste. They need to be seen! So if anyone would like to take me out to show them off, just let me know…

  1. Oooh [seething with envy], those are darling!! You must take a picture of your feet on a shoe-debut outing. My luck, the instant I wore them outside I’d scuff them on the curb as I tripped or, worse, step in dog poo. Actually, there’s a more than decent chance I’d do both!

p.s. Great idea for the hard hat!
p.p.s. Except for the notion that you’d then have to work more.

I’m just waiting for a six-foot, intelligent man who likes croissants and jazz to take me out, so I reckon it could take a while, lol. I am very worried about scuffing the toes (darned foot drop), so must really, really try to lift my feet up really, really high whilst walking in them.
I would absolutely LOVE a hard hat! Can you imagine?! I actually did a bit more work today anyhow – I chomped my way through a whole baguette, rather than wolf down a bacon buttie in one. Took some doing!

      • I know someone who likes jazz!!! (Not giving up on the Ken fantasy…)

p.s. Am very impressed about the baguette vs. buttie. Fighting the siren song of the jelly beans over here.

Ha! Not that I was hinting or anything…
I hope you haven’t STILL got that huge packet of jelly beans??? Wouldn’t last a day in this house with The Teenager, lol.

Pretty, pretty shoes! Just take a deep breath on the shoe scuffing. You know it is inevitable. We will all suffer with you. 🙂

That’s very true! They’re way too nice to keep in the house. Just waiting for that special outing…

      Hi Helena!
They are fab, fab, fab. My mum even popped over especially to see them, lol. I will definitely blog about their debut – watch this space!

I adore them, but I don’t think the builder would be very impressed if I turned up for work in them! I reckon the MS Trust should manufacture them…
